This Year’s Theme … “Galactic Starveyors”
Kids ages 4 years old to those entering 6th grade are invited to spend a few days with us every summer during the month of July. Our VBS week includes a great lesson, bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to our kids. We also enjoy wonderful music, crafts, snacks, and games. This July our kids will become Galactic Starveyors! They’ll discover the God of the universe and encounter amazing and wonderful things designed by a Creator who is even bigger than the vastness of His Creation. So, mark your calendar now – VBS week takes place during the week of July 23rd. We’ll kick off the week with a Family Fun Night on the 23rd from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. VBS Week begins on the 24th, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. You can register by downloading this registration form VBS 2017 Registration Form – just complete it and drop it in the mail, or you can bring it with you on the 23rd.
Our 2016 VBS Week, entitled ‘Submerged’, took our kids on an adventure like no other, scouring the mysterious fathoms of the deep sea. As our kids submerged themselves in God’s Word, they discovered that Jesus saw people differently. He doesn’t just see what’s on the outside; He sees who people are deep down. Child Evangelism Fellowship
Kimmels Church sponsors the Child Evangelism Fellowship Good News Club. CEF®, an international Bible-centered faith ministry active in 170 countries around the world, hosts the Good News Club at the Blue Mountain Elementary East Building. The Club meets weekly during the school year – and focuses on an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press®. The program also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. The Good News Club includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and an opportunity for children to trust Jesus as Savior. It also includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth. All children are encouraged to attend a local church.
