Vacation Bible School
July 22-26, 2013
6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Kids ages kindergarten through sixth grade – join us this summer for a great week of Vacation Bible School. Our theme is the Armor of God!  You’ll learn how to stand strong by wearing God’s armor. Each day you’ll learn how to put on a new piece of armor and become a mighty warrior in God’s Kingdom.

Harvest Family Festival

11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Mark your calendar now and plan to attend this great day of family fun. Our fourth annual Harvest Family Festival offers lots of activities for kids including hayrides, pumpkin decorating, face painting, kiddie train rides, bean bag toss, dunk tank, large bounce around, pony rides, plus more. We also have live music, plus offer items for sale including home baked goods, pumpkins (from our own pumpkin patch!), mums and plants – and we have a huge rummage sale where you’ll find all kinds of gently used household items, toys, even furniture! Proceeds this year will benefit the Salvation Army Thanksgiving Dinner Program.

Annual Events

Community Heritage Day Kimmels Church participates in the Orwigsburg Community Heritage Day celebration usually held in July. Be sure to stop by our booth and say hello!	Sweetheart Dinner This annual event is held on Valentine’s Day weekend – and includes a great meal and fabulous entertainment. It’s an opportunity to enjoy a wonderful evening with your sweetheart!
30 Hour Famine Event Teens support World Vision’s movement to raise money to help feed hungry kids and their families around the world. Held over a two-day period, teens go without food for 30 hours – and perform local community service projects.	Festival of Lights Kimmels choir and members participate in annual Christmas Holiday Festival of Lights Celebration in Orwigsburg. Usually held in early December.
