Baptism
Adult and youth baptisms are held annually at an off-site location. We believe that the New Testament baptism by immersion “in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” is a symbol of our faith in the crucified, buried and risen Lord, and of our death to sin and resurrection to a new life. Candidates for membership are urged to be baptized, but baptism is not a prerequisite to church membership.
Child Dedication
A Child Dedication is an opportunity for you as a parent to dedicate your child to the Lord. Child dedication is a public declaration to raise your child in the ways of the Lord, teaching them at home and at church. If you are interested in scheduling a Child Dedication, please contact Pastor Preston Broadhurst.
Youth Breakfast
Breakfast is available to all on the first Sunday of each month from October through May, at 8:30 am. Hosted by our Kimmels Youth, all proceeds are used to help support teen attendance at Camp Orchard Hill. Platters include scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage links, OJ, milk, coffee, and a variety of baked goods. Breakfast is available to adults for $4.00, and kids ages 5 to 12 for $3. Children ages 4 and younger are not charged.
Fellowship Dinners
A Fellowship Dinner is held on the last Wednesday of each month, at 6:00 pm. All are invited to attend. Just bring a covered dish and/or a dessert item. Drinks are provided. This is a great way to enjoy an evening meal with friends and family.
National Friendship Day Annual Picnic
Our Annual Picnic is held on the first Sunday in August, also celebrated as National Friendship Day. This is a great way to enjoy each others company while we fellowship, eat, play games, and listen to live music. Family, friends and neighbors are invited to join in this special celebration following our morning Worship Service. All are encouraged to bring a covered dish or dessert.
Please check the events and calendar pages for specific details and dates.
