Kids ROC
Fourth Sunday @ 6:00 pm
All kids K-5th grade are invited to join us on the fourth Sunday of each month for an evening of fun, music, games and snacks.
Current Program
Our current program is based on What’s in The Bible. Join Veggie Tales creator Phil Vischer and a boatload of new friends on a groundbreaking journey through the world’s most amazing book, the Bible! This exciting DVD series introduces kids to the Bible with catchy tunes, animation, puppets, plus more. From host Buck Denver through to Sunday School Lady, a couple of weird looking English guys who can’t stop talking about ponies, a scientist and assorted preachers, pastors and respectable old ladies, Vischer has created his most engaging characters to date! Kids ROC normally runs from October through May. Please check the calendar for specific dates and times.
Mid Week Study Program
Wednesday @ 7:00 pm
Designed for the entire family, our mid-week study program meets every Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Each program is comprised of a specific curriculum structured to educate and equip ourselves with the tools we need to embrace our biblical teachings, and apply them to every day life.
Current Mid-Week Program for Kids
Children pre-K to 5th grade will join our Expedition Kidz 8-week study What’s Bugging You? … a program that provides kids with an understanding of why they were created.
Vacation Bible School
For one week every summer kids have an opportunity to have a great time while they learn about God. Vacation Bible School at Kimmels Church is a week packed with music, fun, games, crafts – but more importantly we show them how God’s word connects to every area of our lives … and how relevant it is today as it was thousands of years ago. Our VBS programs are designed to teach kids about God’s life-changing love while they enjoy a week packed full of activities. VBS is normally held during the month of July.
Child Evangelism Fellowship
Kimmels Church sponsors the Child Evangelism Fellowship Good News Club. CEF®, an international Bible-centered faith ministry active in 170 countries around the world, hosts the Good News Club at the Blue Mountain Elementary East Building. The Club meets weekly during the school year – and focuses on an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press®. The program also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. The Good News Club includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and an opportunity for children to trust Jesus as Savior. It also includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth. All children are encouraged to attend a local church.
