Every 2nd & 4th Tuesday
9:30 am – 11:30 am
Becoming a MOPS member allows you to participate in a movement that is helping women all around the world become not only great moms but also leaders in their communities. When moms are well equipped they can support and encourage one another. Being a mom might be the hardest job you’ll ever have but we bet that it’s the best one too! Sometimes you just need a safe space to breathe, get much need encouragement and share some yummy snacks. MOPS Membership provides resources (and lots of fun goodies) that remind you that we are all in this together. The fall program begins on September 12 and meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. The program continues through May 8, and ends with a picnic on May 22. Childcare is provided.
Hearts & Hands Prayer Ministry
Every Monday – 6:30 pm
Join us on Monday evenings as we gather together to pray for those in need, as well offer special thanks in times of joy. In addition we will make cards of encouragement, birthday cards, and get well wishes to send to those in our hearts. Bring in your favorite stamping or crafting supplies!
Corporate Prayer Ministry
Every First Sunday
We have formed a Corporate Prayer Ministry open to all who love the Lord – and have a desire to express a heart for prayerful worship and faithfully seek the face of God. Amazing things happen when believers come together and pray, and impossible victories are often won. Please join us on the first Sunday of each month as we pray for God’s blessings and protection, for the health of our church family and leadership, and for God’s direction for our future.
Mid Week Studies
Designed for the entire family, our mid-week study programs meet on Wednesday evenings. Each program is comprised of a specific curriculum structured to educate and equip ourselves with the tools we need to embrace our biblical teachings, and apply them to everyday life.
Our Adult Class is currently studying the Seven Churches of Revelation, which will be followed by a study of the Book of Jude. The adult class is led by Jack Wetzel.
Our Teen Class is entitled Dust to Glory: A Brief Survey of Redemptive History. We’ll look to Scripture for the story of God saving a people for Himself, and dive into God’s plans and purposes for us and this world, as well as understanding more of who He is, the extent to which He has gone to redeem His people, and the hope we have of glory. The teen class is led by Jonathan Hikes.
Our Kids Class (K-5) will be titled DiscipleTown. At our town our kids will learn about the skills every follower of Jesus Christ must develop in order to grow and live victoriously. Best of all, we will have a blast in the process. Each night we will learn the Bible through creative teaching, short video object lessons, skits, and games. Throughout the year we will be offering hands on activities as well. Some will be fun and games, some will be service related, and some will be family related. All of these will help us connect with our families, church, and community. Kids – be sure to come each week to DiscipleTown, and follow Jesus with us! The kids class is led by Pastor Preston.
* Note: Mid week groups do not meet on the first Wednesday of the month.
Girls Bible Study
Natalie Broadhurst and Ashley Fuggiti will be leading a new Bible study for girls ages 6th grade through college. Through biblical teaching and real life application, this study will teach us that we do not have to live in weakness. God is stronger than every struggle we will ever face. The study will be held at Natalie’s home.
Women’s Ministry Bible Study
Begins January 11
Please join us on January 11 as we kick off our 2018 Women’s Ministry Program. We’ll enjoy a time of fellowship (please bring a snack to share!), and begin a new study based on the Book of Ruth. Every 1st & 3rd Thursday
Men, please join our Iron Men group! All of us experience life’s problems, and bumps along the way. Even though we may not have the answers, God is always willing and ready to help us accomplish all that He has determined for us to do. Together we will learn how to sharpen each other and encourage one another to walk in His will for our lives. Join with us as He helps us grow to be the men that He has called us to be.
